the products of Chinese workmanship in San Francisco is up-hill
business. The wares produced by the Chinamen are cheap, and of
excellent quality; and when it comes to the question of paying coin
for needed articles, the cheap and excellent is usually preferred to
the dear and less conscientiously made. |
